Q. I have 4 cards in my EX area. If I select 2 cards on my field to put into my EX area with Paula, Passionate Warmth's On Evolve ability, what happens to them?

A. You choose one to put into your EX area, and the other stays on the field.

Q. If I put a Puppet and Orchis, Resolute Puppet into my EX area with Paula, Passionate Warmth's On Evolve ability, does Orchis's "when a Puppet leaves your field" ability trigger?

A. Yes, it triggers even if Orchis itself leaves the field at the same time as a Puppet.

Q. If I select a token for Paula, Passionate Warmth's On Evolve ability, does it get removed from the game?

A. No. It remains in its owner's EX area after you put it there. Follower and amulet tokens may exist in the EX area, field, and resolution zone. They are only removed from the game immediately after movement when moved to other zones.

Q. Do cards I put into my EX area with Paula, Passionate Warmth's On Evolve ability lose all effects, changes to attack/defense, and counters?

A. Yes, they do.

Q. I begin my turn by playing Paula, Icy Warmth from hand and a Fairy from my EX area. If I then evolve Paula, Icy Warmth into Paula, Passionate Warmth and attack with it, do I fulfill the Combo (3) condition in its Strike ability?

A. No. Evolving a follower doesn't count as playing a card, so it doesn't count toward your Combo.
