Q. If a follower with Last Words loses all its abilities and then is destroyed, does its Last Words ability trigger?

A. No, it doesn't.

Q. If a follower loses all its abilities, can I still give it Ward with Guardian Sun?

A. Yes. Abilities given to a follower after it lost all its abilities are still valid.
