Q. I have a Mjerrabaine, Great Manifest and a Humpty Dumpty on my field. If I deal 5 damage to Mjerrabaine, reducing its defense to 0, and discard a Greatness Ascended with Humpty Dumpty's On Evolve ability, can I put the Greatness Ascended into my EX area from my cemetery?

A. No, you can't. Greatness Ascended's ability would become pending after the resolution of Humpty Dumpty's On Evolve ability, but confirmation timing would occur first, putting Mjerrabaine into the cemetery before Greatness Ascended's ability can be played.

Q. If I discard this spell during my end phase because I have too many cards in my hand, can I play its ability and put it into my EX area?
