A. No. If another ability reduces this follower's defense to 0, confirmation timing would occur after that ability is resolved, and this follower would be destroyed. Although you would resolve its On Super-Evolve ability afterward, it would no longer be on the field to have its defense modified.

A. No. The next part of the ability would change its defense to 7 before the next confirmation timing, so it would not be destroyed.
