A. The enemy leader would take either 4 damage or 5 damage, depending on the opponent's decision. When there are multiple abilities modifying damage dealt, the player receiving the damage decides the order in which the abilities are applied. In this case, depending on the order, the final damage taken can be calculated either of the following two ways: 1. The opponent chooses to apply the +1 damage first. In this case, Realm of Repose's ability would reduce the incoming 6 damage to 4. 2. The opponent chooses to apply Realm of Repose's ability first. In this case, it would reduce the incoming 5 damage to 4, which would then be modified to 5.

Q. My opponent attacks my leader with a 3-attack follower with this equipped. If I play Mercurial Might at Quick timing, how much damage does my leader take?

A. Your leader would take 3 damage. When there are multiple abilities modifying damage dealt, the player receiving the damage decides the order in which the abilities are applied. However, in this case, all orders would result in the same damage calculation.

Q. I have a Shion, Immortal Aegis on the field. How much damage does it take if it is attacked by a 1-attack enemy follower with this equipped?

A. It would take either 0 damage or 1 damage, depending on your decision. When there are multiple abilities modifying damage dealt, the player who controls the follower receiving the damage decides the order in which the abilities are applied. In this case, depending on the order, the final damage taken can be calculated either of the following two ways: 1. Shion, Immortal Aegis takes 0 damage because you decide to apply its ability first, reducing 1 damage to 0. Then, since taking 0 damage doesn't count as taking damage at all, there is no instance of damage that would be modified by +1. 2. Shion, Immortal Aegis takes 1 damage because you decide to apply the +1 damage first, modifying the damage taken to 2, which is then reduced to 1 by Shion, Immortal Aegis's ability.

Q. If the equipped follower has 0 attack, and it attacks an enemy follower, does it deal 1 damage?

A. No. When a 0-attack follower attacks, it doesn't count as dealing damage, and the "if the equipped follower would deal damage, it deals that much +1 instead" ability only takes effect when damage is dealt.

Q. When does the "if the equipped follower would deal damage, it deals that much +1 instead" ability take effect?

A. It takes effect when the equipped follower deals combat or ability damage. Note that a follower with 0 or less attack doesn't deal damage in combat.

A. Yes, it does.
